Battery: 2 AA batteries lasted much longer.
Memory: 2 GB SD card is more than enough memory as the stereo, 90th, MP3 256 setting. I had almost 18 hours on an SD card of 2 GB.

| Review by Anony (USA) 2010-02-24 I am an opera singer, and use this recorder for practice and rehearsals. The quality is top notch, even for the highest notes, which are often distorted with other recorders. I've used a million different recorders and this is by far the best I've ever used.... | Review by Stephen (Baltimore, USA) 2010-01-30 A handy device for impromptu recording. The recordings are very good and one can pick either WAV or MP3. I have other Tascam products and find that they are rugged, reliable and have a reasonable price. Out of all the other portable recorders I looked at this one was the best.... Top #4 Zoom RC4 Wired Remote Control For Zoom H4nOverall Rating (8/10)![]() |
|
| Review by Dave - Free as Can Be (Franklin, TN) 2009-07-05 This remote is nothing special other than it works with the Zoom H4n recorder. The H4n recorder is an amazing multi-track recorder that can record mono, stereo or surround sound music of musical instruments or other sound source. It is sold at a very good price compared to its capabilities. However, the H4n has the unavoidable fault of having se... Read more Zoom RC4 Wired reviews | ||

| Review by D. Hall (USA) 2010-03-03 First off, I'm not a professional, but like to play bluegrass with friends and wanted to get a recorder to hear how we sounded on recorded medium. The first Zoom H2 I received didn't work (record) straight out of the box. The unit would turn on and I could scroll the menu, but none of the recording lights worked, and no sound when I attempted to re... Read more Zoom H2 Handy reviews | ||

| Review by Joan Runs Through (USA) 2010-03-03 I was at a trumpet festival, kicking myself that I hadn't brought a video recorder so I could record my kids' performance, when I remembered I had my ipod and this little mic in my purse. They got to listen to their concert in the car on the drive home. ... Read more Blue Microphones Mikey reviews | ||

| Review by MiMi (Ohio, USA) 2009-10-18 It's too soon to give a full review (as I've used it less than a dozen times), but so far, so good! I haven't had any problems with it, and it seems fairly easy to use. I need to become a bit more familiar with some of the controls and build my savvy on the usage of the mics, settings, etc. However, to me it was a a great purchase. I did a lot ... | Review by Mr. Amazed (Mexicali, Baja California Mexico) 2010-02-06 I ordered and received this unit through the mail to replace a BOSS MICRO Unit that I had. My needs for recording are simple, so This little unit does the trick. In terms of having more recording options it its better than my previous pocket studio. The only thing That I missed was the lack of effects and that it doesn't include pre-programmed ryth... Read more Tascam DP-004 Pocketstudio reviews | ||

| Review by Alan Bruce Mccornack (San Diego, CA USA) 2010-03-06 I've had the H4n for about a month. I've used it in my Calculus class to record audio (finally, something with a built-in mic that doesn't sound like MUD - Olympus digital recorders, et al, eat my dust), and for a fill-in with my home recordings after a good condenser mic was knocked (literally) out of commission. The Zoom does a lot, and everyth... Read more Zoom H4n Handy reviews | ||
